This web page map of Nemaha County is not
accurate for the time but is in the way it was surveyed at the
time. The first map of the Nemaha County was layer out. different.
The map below is the same as the Townships are today however this
was not followed in laying out the early townships
There are other trails
on these maps other than the Overland tail or main trails which
took one to the west. this also including the Indian trails. Click
on the individual maps to open. There were very few settlers in the
area when this area survey was done in 1855 to 57
of Nemaha County. Some were negative and had to be changed to match
the rest of the maps. |
