Seneca Implement Company has been located in Seneca, Kansas
since Lee and Helen Flentie purchased Armstrong
Implement from the Sam Armstrong family in the
fall of 1963 and changed the name to Seneca
Implement Co.
Sam Armstrong was the Allis Chalmers dealer
which was located on the east side of the fourth
street across from the present day Taylor Chevrolet
dealership. There were four business along the east
side of the street at this time and were all removed to
make a parking lot.
Gary
and Marilyn Evans moved to Seneca at that time and
managed Seneca Implement company and
purchased the company a few years later.
In
1966 Joe and Aurelia Heinen purchased the present
property at Hwy 36 west. The business was moved to
the this location,
The building at this location had been the former Ford dealership
owned by Virginia & Ray Sanders.
This business was the Allis Chalmers dealership until 1988.
Since that time we provide sales & service for Gehl,
Kelly-Ryan, Bush-Hog, Kewanee, Westendorf, Landoll, M & M tree shears, Mensch, CEattachments and other
short lines.
